We are excited to welcome our new Director of Annual Fund, Sarah Golden, to the WFS community.
Hello New Friends,
I am absolutely delighted to join the Wilmington Friends School community as your new Director of Annual Fund. Coming from Maris Grove Senior Living Community, I have already seen firsthand that same spirit of stewardship and mutual support here—a place where we look out for the collective well-being of every student and family.
Since arriving, I’ve been inspired by the spirit of stewardship and the deep commitment shown by our families, alumni, faculty, staff—each united by a belief in the lifelong value of a Quaker education. My goal is to foster these connections and ensure that your support continues to provide a direct investment in our Future of Friends, from empowering our faculty to enriching the student experience for the next generation.
I am particularly energized to lead my first Giving Day on April 17th! It will be a monumental day for our school, preceded by a Week of Fun filled with spirit days and campus surprises. I can’t wait to see everyone showing their "True Blue" pride as we "Be Bold for Blue."
I look forward to meeting you all on campus soon and working together to keep our community thriving.
