Ellie Anderson '14

Ellie Anderson '14 spent yesterday with a national celebrity - Punxsutawney Phil - who predicted six more weeks of winter on Groundhog Day 2022.
Ellie covered the event for her position at Hello Tierney, a marketing and advertising company in Philadelphia, where she focuses on social and digital media for a variety of clients including the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, visitPA, Donate Life PA, and Gift of Life Donor Program.

Ellie says while at WFS she was able to find life-long friends (who she is still close to) and discover her passions. "In high school, I was able to take advantage of extracurricular activities that helped me discover what I like versus what I don’t like, which paved the way for my college career and beyond." She participated in the B+ Danceathon, Best Buddies, and was on the volleyball and swimming teams all through high school.
Ellie graduated from Elon University with a degree in Communication Design and participated in many activities while there, including Alpha Xi Delta (Theta Nu chapter), SPARKS (a health education organization), and the ElonThon Dance Marathon.

Advice for WFS seniors? "Don't be scared to pursue something out of your comfort zone! You never know what you like until you try it."
