Sia Willie - Mighty Munchkins Director and MS Site Director

Sia Willie has worked in the field of education since 2002, beginning as an Early Elementary Language Arts specialist and Camp Program Director for the Winchester School in Maryland. While in pursuit of her Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language, she taught English to French high schoolers in Cotonou, Benin, and to Russian toddlers in Boston, Massachusetts. After relocating to Wilmington, Delaware, she began at Wilmington Friends as an associate teacher and, within a year, secured a lead position as a pre-kindergarten teacher. Sia currently teaches first grade during the school year. Her summers are spent as one of the directors of the Mighty Munchkins Camp as well as the Middle School Camp. Sia and her family have now been part of the Friends community for 15 years.

"Working with the youngest and the oldest campers provides a fascinating lens when viewing the individual development of children. "
