Climate Scientist, Dr. Michael Mann
WFS recently hosted our latest guest in the Nathan M. Clark speaker series, climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann.
He spent time with WFS students (including those in our Fridays for the Future Club, on our Ecology Team, and those who traveled to Acadia National Park on last summer's QUEST Service Trip) during the day and then in the evening gave a talk and participated in a lively Q & A about the current state of the climate crisis and what needs to be done now to reverse it.

Environmental Science Students Build Algae Farms
Upper school environmental science students built model carbon capture algae farms as part of their study of climate change mitigation. They developed ways to measure algae growth using microscopes and a spectrophotometer.Read More -
