IB Music and Visual Arts Students Visit NYC

IB music and visual art students spent a beautiful day in New York City, with a morning dedicated to artistic and musical research at the Met Museum.
Students then walked through Central Park where they engaged in some creative work including sketching and sound recordings. In the park, they experienced the real NYC, including numerous street performers. In fact, one was singing a piece the IB music class studied the previous week! Students arrived at the theater to discover their tickets had been upgraded to orchestra seats for Into the Woods! It was a spectacular performance, and an extra-special treat for those students in our group who are also in the WFS production of Into the Woods this coming weekend.
