Beth McClelland Lutostansky '88 Speaks About Career in Energy Industry

Beth McClelland Lutostansky '88 recently presented to a packed house of upper schoolers––including those in the Environmental Science class and the STEMinist Club––on her career in the energy industry.
Since completing graduate school, Beth has worked as an engineer for Air Products in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She spoke of her firm's efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and how increased use of renewable energy will impact emissions globally. Students learned about how hydrogen fuel cells will power trucks and buses in the near future. They also learned about carbon sequestration and cryogenic air separation.

As a student at WFS, Beth especially enjoyed math and science. She talked to the students about the importance of networking and being active in professional associations.
