Sixth Graders Learn About Voice

Sixth graders recently completed their unit on the voice in Exploring Music.  They have been demonstrating their understanding through short essays on the process of creating sound, followed by creative projects on the anatomy and function of the larynx.
Sixth graders recently completed their unit on the voice in Exploring Music.  They have been demonstrating their understanding through short essays on the process of creating sound, followed by creative projects on the anatomy and function of the larynx. Student-designed projects this year included rap songs (by the Epigolotts), skits (such as "Larynx Detectives"), Kahoot trivia quizzes, board games, paintings, and models created from a multitude of media including Roblox and Minecraft video games, found objects, candy, foam, and model magic.
