During the study of light with Teacher Tim, first graders learned that light is needed to see objects and color.
During the study of light with Teacher Tim, first graders learned that light is needed to see objects and color. They investigated what happened if they placed different objects in front of a beam of light and discovered that some objects block light and others let light through. Objects that blocked light created shadows. Students explored how to create and change shadows, leading them to design and create their own shadow puppet.
