Sixth Grade Blogs

This fall, sixth grade students worked on building their own blogs around an interest or expertise they have, ranging from specific crafts, sports, culinary niches, etc.

Each student became an original content creator by writing a "how-to" article on their theme, and then took it one step further by writing a review for a product that fit into their theme. Through this project, students learn how to write engaging introductions, informative body paragraphs, and clear conclusions as well as valuable editing, design, and critiquing skills. It also serves as a great way for sixth grade faculty to get to know students and their varying interests as they make the transition to middle school!
