Guest Speaker - Thought Leader and Author Heather McGhee

Students in grades 7-12 attended a special presentation with national thought leader and author, Heather C. McGhee
Heather focuses on designing and promoting solutions to inequality in America and her 2021 New York Times best seller, "The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together," has recently been adapted for young readers. Students were captivated by Heather's talk, which was followed by a 20-minute question and answer session where both middle and upper schoolers asked insightful questions.
