Senior Speaker Series Focuses on Life Skills

Over the past month, WFS community members presented a speaker series for seniors to help prepare them for life after WFS.
Topics included:

• Fiscal responsibility and understanding credit, presented by Parent of alumnae Todd Veal, Executive Director at the Laffey-McHugh Foundation and financial expert

• Consent, the “reality” of campus life, and campus relationships, presented by parent Meredith Jones '00, MS/US Consulting Psychologist and Associate Professor of Psychology at Rowan University

• Legal adulthood and making good choices, presented by parent and parent of alumnus Ipek Kurul, Deputy Attorney General.

We are grateful for the time they spent engaging with our seniors and providing real-world lessons for these soon-to-be graduates!
