Welcome, we are thrilled you are considering Wilmington Friends School for your child’s education. Founded in 1748, WFS is a Quaker, co-ed, college preparatory school that serves children from preschool through twelfth grade. We are currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.
Although our school looks very different this year, at our core we remain the same: committed to our community; committed to new ideas; and committed to excellence. With nearly 275 years of experience, we are excited to show you what is unique about the Friends’ approach to education. We encourage you to look around our website and visit our social media to see what life is like at Friends. I hope in these images and videos, you will see a place for your student at WFS - from our one-to-one technology program that now extends to our preschool to our opportunities to give back to the greater community.
We look forward to working with your family during this exciting process. Please contact us any time via phone at 302.576.2930 or email
