Established in 2009 by Wilmington Friends School parents, the Senior Fund offers senior families — including grandparents, relatives, and friends — a meaningful way to honor and celebrate both our graduating seniors and the many people who have supported them along their journey at WFS. This tradition recognizes the triumphs and challenges, growth and discovery, and the collaborative spirit that defines the partnership between families and Friends. It is both a celebration of this milestone and a legacy that honors the people and experiences that have enriched the lives of our students and our community.
Every contribution to the Senior Fund, no matter the amount, supports the School’s Annual Fund. Donors may choose to direct their gift to one of the categories below or to the area of greatest need.
Academic/Curriculum Enrichment (e.g., materials, technology, exchanges, service opportunities, resources)
Faculty Support and Development (e.g., guest staff, continuing education, curriculum refinement)
Sports Programming and Management (e.g., coaching staff, equipment and uniforms, injury prevention and rehab)
