  • Student Visits / Shadow Days

Spending time with peers on our campus is a great opportunity for applicants to experience a school day at Friends and get to know more about the School.

Preschool and Pre-kindergarten applicants are invited to visit campus to participate in an Early Years Playgroup where young children will engage with teachers and peers while exploring classroom materials and participating in age-appropriate activities.

Kindergarten applicants join us for a scheduled morning visit and 1st - 5th grade applicants visit for a full day. During their time at Friends, applicants will engage in age-appropriate admissions assessments, and classroom activities alongside their peers including academic lessons, specials like art and Spanish, and recess.

6th-12th grade applicants come for a Shadow Day and will pair with a student host who will bring them along as they go about the school day. Applicants will be immersed in classes, enjoy lunch in our cafeteria, and chat with other students during free time. For those who have a special interest in sports, the arts, technology, or another area, they will have a chance to meet with a coach or teacher to tell them more about the opportunities that await at Friends.
