WFS Alum Max Okolo ’18 Continues His Path Toward a Career in Medicine

Wilmington Friends School alumnus Max Okolo ’18 continues to make an impact in the medical field.
Now a third-year medical student at Temple University, Max is pursuing interests in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Interventional Pain Management.

Recently, Max had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Larry Chou, the father of his WFS classmate Lawrence Chou ’18, gaining valuable clinical insight and mentorship. Max has also been actively involved in research and presentations during medical school and previously spent a summer conducting research at the Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis.

We love seeing our alumni pursuing meaningful careers in medicine—best of luck to Max as he continues his journey!
