Boys' Lacrosse and Girls' Soccer Capture DISC Championships!

Congratulations to the boys' lacrosse team and the girls' soccer team for capturing the DISC Championships in their respective sports!
The boys' lacrosse team captured the DISC Championship this spring with a 9-1 record in conference play, outscoring their conference foes 122-36. They finished their regular season with an overall record of 13-2, the most regular season wins by a WFS team since 2017. The boys’ lacrosse State Tournament begins on May 23/24 and we will provide more information once the brackets are released — Go Blue!
The WFS soccer team captured the DISC Championship this spring with an undefeated record in conference play, winning all ten matchups and outscoring their opponents 56-5. The Quakers, who finished their regular season campaign with an overall record of 13-1-1, will compete in the 2023 DIAA Division II State Tournament beginning on May 20. We will provide more information once the brackets are released — Go Blue!
Kindergarten students recently listened to a read-aloud of "The Skin You Live In" by Michael Tyler and explored the diversity and the variety of skin tones of the children in the story before creating their own self-portraits!
The Upper School Club Fair is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the variety of clubs available at WFS, from the Steminists to Random Acts of Kindness and Robotics!
Congratulations to WFS seniors Evan Jones and Maddie Miller who were recognized by the College Board with the National African American Recognition Award!
