WFS Students Travel to NYC!

IBHL Group 6 Performing and Visual Arts students, along with Music and Visual Arts Major students, took their annual epic field trip to New York City!
Experiencing art and performances in person, surrounded by the city’s rich cultural landscape, brings new context, perspective, and meaning to the work they study in the classroom.  The day began on the Hudson River, with performing arts students heading to Little Island and Visual Arts students viewing David Hammons's piece, Day's End.  Next was the show Roy Lichtenstein: Like New at the Whitney, a walk on the High Line, and lunch at Chelsea Market.  Performing Arts students then headed to the Museum of Broadway, while Visual Arts students went to MoMA, then met back up to see the Broadway show Schmigadoon!
