Early Years Students Welcome New Castle County Police Mounted Patrol Unit
Early years students enjoyed a visit from the New Castle County Police Mounted Patrol Unit!
Students learned how to tell the difference between a male and female Clydesdale (look at the feathers on their feet); what foods they like to eat (fruits, vegetables, and candy!); and how often they see a dentist each year because their teeth never stop growing. They also learned about a mounted police officer's day-to-day work. At the end of the visit, students could pet the Clydesdales.
It was wonderful to welcome the Wilmington Friends School Class of 1976 back to campus to celebrate its 50th reunion! Throughout Homecoming Weekend, classmates reconnected, reminisced, and celebrated the friendships and experiences from their time at WFS.
Thank you to all in our community for a wonderful Homecoming 2026! It was great to have so many current families, alumni, and friends on campus for the festivities.
