Izzy Miller ’23 Qualifies for Triathlon World Championships

Isabelle "Izzy" Miller '23 competed in Triathlon Nationals (Olympic distance) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this summer and finished 6th place in her category for Team USA, qualifying for Triathlon World Championships in Hamburg, Germany in September 2027!
Izzy attends Middlebury College and just concluded studying abroad in the fall semester at Sciences Po Bordeaux, France and in the spring semester at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. While studying abroad, her training included a bike ride from Bordeaux through the Pyrenees to San Sebastián, Spain (196.8 miles over two days; 4972 ft of elevation), as well as a bike ride along the east coast of Taiwan (186.3 miles over three days; 11,323 ft of elevation).
 
She is looking forward to competing in Triathlon World Championships next year, as well as in a 70.3 mile half-Ironman this September!
