Winter Athletics Review 2025-26

It was another excellent winter for WFS athletics. Our student-athletes competed with purpose, resilience, and school pride across every court, mat, pool, and track. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work and grateful to the fans who cheered them on.

Boys' Basketball

The WFS boys’ basketball team wrapped up the 2025–26 season with a strong 12–8 record. Facing one of the toughest schedules in the state—including six opponents that qualified for the DIAA Tournament—the Quakers showed resilience all winter. Highlighting their season, WFS earned a decisive 26-point victory over #18 Archmere in February, and swept Tower Hill and St. Andrew’s in critical conference matchups. The Class of 2026 concludes an outstanding four-year run that included two DIAA State Tournament appearances and 51 total victories.

The Quakers endured one of the state’s most challenging schedules, including 11 games against tournament teams. The Quakers went 4-0 against conference opponents Tower Hill and St. Andrew's, averaging 44.25 points in these victories. The Class of 2026 ends an impressive four-year stretch highlighted by 48 wins and three DIAA State Tournament appearances.

His standout play also earned him selection to the 2025–26 DHSHL All-Star Game.
