WFS Students Honored for Leadership and Impact at Blood Cancer United’s Student Visionaries of the Year Celebration

Numerous WFS students were honored at the Blood Cancer United Student Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale Celebration, recognizing their leadership, compassion, and commitment to making a difference in the fight against blood cancer.
WFS had two teams represented in this year’s campaign: Stronger Together, led by Olivia Agne ’27, Annie Rosenthal ’27, and Lucy White ’27, and Team Oscar, led by Oscar Wilson ’27.

The Student Visionaries of the Year program is a philanthropic leadership development initiative for high school students. Each year, candidates build a team, create a fundraising plan, and rally their communities during an intensive 7-week fundraising challenge.

Supporting the teams were Ella Fontanazza ’26, Emma Lavelle ’26, and Anna Weiner ’26, who served as Junior Leadership Committee Members. Throughout the campaign, members of the Junior Leadership Committee mentor and support the candidate teams. Sofia Dattani ’27, Pamela Moore ’27, Mia Tabron ’27, Ava Okolo ’28, and Isla White ’29 were team members who supported through fundraising efforts.

The program supports the mission of Blood Cancer United: to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Great job, friends!
