Spring Concert Series Opens with Beautiful Middle and Upper School Choral Performances

The WFS Spring Concert Series began with a fantastic middle and upper school choral concert on Tuesday evening, featuring performances from our 6th Grade Choir, 7th & 8th Grade Choir, Chorale, and Chamber Singers.
Centered on a theme of hope, the program included selections such as “Hope Lingers On,” “I Found Something I Was Searching For,” “Standing Stone,” and “How Can I Keep From Singing?”

The evening also highlighted the power of collaboration with combined ensembles, including upper school choirs and middle school tenor-bass and treble choirs. Under the direction of Margaret Anne Butterfield (Upper School Choir Director) and Sara Gaines (Middle School Choir Director), with accompaniment by Laura Hannagan (piano), our students delivered strong performances. Special thanks to the support from our University of Delaware student teachers: Ashley Attieh, Evelyn Husta, and Kelly Irwin.
