Eco Club and Stewardship Committee Drive Stewardship Week

Friends of the Earth!
The upper school Stewardship Committee and Eco Club turned ideas into action through a series of initiatives for Stewardship Week designed to increase campus environmental awareness and cultivate our campus. Through their efforts:

  • Students restored campus garden and courtyard areas, putting environmental principles into direct physical practice.
  •  The upper school Eco Club orchestrated a bake sale for two days, with proceeds going towards the Youth Environmental Summit.
  • Ninth through 11th grade students viewed the documentary, “Becoming Nature Positive” during flex period. They learned more about the issues facing our environment, as well as strategies that they can implement in their daily lives to see change.
