WFS French Students Travel to Quebec

WFS French students traveled to Québec over mid-winter break and the amount of snow there made up for our snow-less winter in Wilmington!
Over their five days in Canada, students took in the sites in Vieux-Québec, played the spoons at Atelier Paré woodworking shop, reenacted training for the 1759 Battle of the Plains of Abraham, tobogganed at Château Frontenac, crossed the suspended bridge over the Montmorency Falls, and visited the Musée de la Civilization. They also made a copper medallion at a "repoussé" workshop at Albert Gilles Copper Museum, visited the Musée Huron-Wendat and had dinner on the Reserve of this First Nation, danced at a sugar shack and ate maple taffy poured on snow, as well as plenty of croissants and poutine, drank chocolat chaud, and snowshoed, skated, tubed, and cross country skied, among many other activities!
