Kindergarteners Explore and Experiment at Longwood Gardens

Our kindergarteners had a wonderful day exploring Longwood Gardens!
Students learned about the different parts of plants and what they need to grow. They also created solar-bead bracelets and tested them in sunlight and shade to determine the best environments for plants to thrive. Along the way, they interacted with gardeners who were watering and caring for plants, including removing those spreading beyond their designated growing areas.

Students also built their gross motor skills, turn taking skills, and engaged in imaginative play and collaboration while visiting the 3 treehouses and the Meadow Overlook.
