Celebrating 106 Years: Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Murch Livingston ’37!
Elizabeth Murch Livingston ’37 (bottom row, center) recently celebrated her 106th birthday with her five children!
Elizabeth followed in the footsteps of her mother, Elinor Murch ’11, when she graduated from Wilmington Friends School in 1937. After earning her degree from Swarthmore College, Elizabeth returned to WFS, where she taught English during the 1940s.
Former WFS teacher and current archivist Terry Maguire recently uncovered these photos of Elizabeth from her days as a WFS student.
