Upper School Service Day
On upper school service day, 9th-11th advisory groups volunteered at local organizations.
These organizations included: Cancer Support Community of DE, DE Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Faithful Friends, Friendship House, Hagley Museum, Humane Animal Partners, Latin American Community Center, Riverview Cemetery, Ronald McDonald House, Siegel JCC, Wilmington & Brandywine Cemetery, and Wilmington Friends Meeting House.
In addition to service day, upper school students must complete at least 50 hours of service with a single organization, with the goal of moving beyond “counting hours” to maximizing the impact of service learning. Students receive an agency evaluation, complete a self-evaluation, and make a presentation designed to pass the service experience on to others.

Smart Machines Classes Compete in Cup-Stacking Challenge
