From Seed to Seed: Third Graders Explore the Plant Life Cycle Through Hands-On Investigation
Third graders became botanists this week as they planted seeds they discovered during a seed hunt!
Earlier, students dissected a variety of fruits to find and collect the seeds inside. They recorded the number of seeds in each fruit and observed their different properties to compare and contrast them. Now that their seeds are planted, students will observe their growth over time. This hands-on investigation is part of the third-grade unit on the plant life cycle—from seed to seed!

A Celebration of Our Alumni Awardees and Coach Tattersall
