Upper School Pops Concert
Jenna Fabiano, a music education major at the University of Delaware, joined WFS as a student teacher in the second half of the spring semester.
As the culminating project of her time at WFS, she taught and conducted the upper school choirs in songs by Bruno Mars, Elton John, Cyndi Lauper, Billie Eilish, Coldplay and Bill Withers in a performance for students. It was a great ending to her time with us! Jenna will graduate from UD this spring and return to her native Long Island to pursue teaching opportunities. We wish her the best!

Megan Hegenbarth’s Quakerism class took a mindful journey into Alapocas Woods with middle school Spanish teacher Laura Pardo ’90, who studied forest immersion on her sabbatical earlier this year. Guided sensory exercises—listening to rustling leaves, feeling tree bark, noticing the movement of water—helped students support their well‑being by connecting with the present moment, their natural surroundings, and themselves.Read More
