Home and School Used Book Sale
The Home & School Used Book Sale will take place on February 23 and 24!
On Friday, February 23, the Used Book Sale will be open to the WFS Community from 12-5pm in the MS/US Meeting for Worship Room with special discounts:
- All students are eligible for one FREE book with purchase.
- WFS staff can bring a bag to fill for $10 per bag.
The sale will be open to the public on Saturday, February 24 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., with buy-one-get-one free pricing from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. No item is more than $3 and soft cover children’s picture books are 5 for $1.
Have time to volunteer this week? Sorting and selling books are low-stress tasks that allow for easy conversation to meet other families. Whether you can commit to a time slot or just pop by for 15 minutes to sort books, please click here to sign up. We would love you to join us!
Finally, keep those donations coming! Last day to drop them off is Wednesday, February 20. If you have questions, please contact Used Book Sale clerks Megan Ede and Katie Van Druff.

Sixth Grade Service Day
Sixth graders recently spent time off campus for a morning of service activities in the local community. These trips included volunteering at the Food Bank of Delaware, Faithful Friends Animal Rescue, Rockland Place, Guardian Angels Daycare, and Alapocas State Park.Read More -

Environmental Science Students Build Algae Farms
Upper school environmental science students built model carbon capture algae farms as part of their study of climate change mitigation. They developed ways to measure algae growth using microscopes and a spectrophotometer.Read More -
