Tyler Williams ’26 Earns Top Innovation Honors at FIRST World Championship

Tyler Williams ’26 competed at the 2026 FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship in Houston, competing among 336 top robotics teams from around the world.
His team advanced to the quarterfinals and earned the 1st Place Innovation Award for their division—recognizing an outstanding and creative robot design. Judges praised their work, noting, “Innovation took a bold turn with this team… they didn’t just solve a problem, they reimagined how a solution can move.”
