Kindergarteners Explore Delaware Museum of Nature and Science

Our kindergarten students had a wonderful adventure at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science!
From dinosaurs in the PaleoZone to discovering animals and habitats in the Regional and Global Journey galleries, students explored, asked great questions, and shared lots of excitement along the way. Crossing over the coral reef was challenging, but we were able to see so many ocean animals and their habitats! Students rotated through five stations to talk about the things animals need to survive: water, food, air, shelter, and space.  They looked at animal skeletons and even held an elephant tooth. They also viewed tree frogs named Sandwich and Flower, a baby snake named Elmer, and fish. Some brave Kindergarteners were also able to pet a bearded dragon named Riley!
