Middle School Chinese
The middle school Chinese classroom has come to life with a post-it dragon made out of Chinese characters written by students!
Seventh grade students also proudly displayed their projects showing the 12 zodiac signs to celebrate the Chinese new year. Finally, congratulations to our middle school Chinese teacher, Jianglin Shi, who was recently named to the Taoli-Chinese Language Educators in the Mid-Atlantic board of directors.

Honoring IB Diploma Candidates

Each student delivered a 3–5 minute presentation reflecting on their growth through the program’s core components: Theory of Knowledge, Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay. Quakerism Class Participates in Forest Immersion
Megan Hegenbarth’s Quakerism class took a mindful journey into Alapocas Woods with middle school Spanish teacher Laura Pardo ’90, who studied forest immersion on her sabbatical earlier this year. Guided sensory exercises—listening to rustling leaves, feeling tree bark, noticing the movement of water—helped students support their well‑being by connecting with the present moment, their natural surroundings, and themselves.Read More -
