A Joyful Parranda: Second Graders Celebrate Puerto Rican Culture Through Song and Movement

Through song, movement, and cultural celebration, our 2nd-grade Spanish students brought a beloved Puerto Rican tradition to life.
As part of their language learning, students traveled around the Lower School sharing a Parranda—a joyful Puerto Rican holiday tradition similar to caroling. Along the way, they sang, danced, and handed out treats, filling classrooms and hallways with music and energy.
