7th-grade Chinese Students Explore Winterthur

7th-grade Chinese students explored the Winterthur Museum, Garden, & Library.
They studied Winterthur’s premier collection of 18th- and 19th-century Chinese export art, learning about its influence on American and European taste. Students were especially fascinated by the history of Chinese wallpaper and the remarkable collection of Chinese books they found in the library. Moreover, they enjoyed a performance from a pianist on a 120-year-old piano in the Chinese Living Room.
